Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate permit records and relevant documentation.
- Prepare and submit required project permits.
- Assist in the processing of building permit applications.
- Knowledge of city organizations, policies and procedures.
- Schedule permit inspections.
- Temporary position can range from 1 week to 3 months.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Located in Tampa / west coast of FL area
- Construction or management experience
- FDEM or FEMA project or in-house experience
- Section 1206 experience
- Permit department or plans review experience
- State of Florida licensed “Building Official” preferred
- Availability as soon as possible preferred, but additional opportunities available in the future
